Description: An impressive antique Australian Cedar chest of drawers, constructed entirely from cedar and displaying the rich colour and beautiful natural grain for which Australian Cedar furniture is highly regarded.
The chest features an arrangement of seven drawers, comprising two deep upper drawers flanking two smaller central drawers, with three full-width drawers below. Decorative recessed panels, original-style turned timber knobs, and keyholes complement the traditional design.
The beautifully turned barley twist columns extend down either side of the chest, finishing with rounded feet. A generously proportioned top provides extra display space, while the mix of drawer sizes offers excellent storage for clothing, linen and other household items.
A distinctive piece of Australian antique furniture, equally suited to a traditional bedroom, dressing room or entrance hall.
