Description: An elegant antique Australian cedar hall or sofa table, displaying the rich reddish-brown tones and attractive natural grain that make Australian cedar furniture so desirable.
The long rectangular top features a gently rounded edge, providing a generous surface for displaying decorative pieces, lamps, artwork or treasured collections. Beneath the top is a deep timber apron with a subtly shaped lower edge, adding character while maintaining the table's simple, traditional design.
The table stands on four beautifully turned legs, featuring decorative baluster sections, ring turnings and slender tapered feet. The combination of the finely turned legs and understated apron gives the piece a refined appearance, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship of Australian colonial furniture.
Its long, narrow proportions make it particularly suitable for an entrance hall, behind a sofa or positioned against a wall in a living or dining room. The warm cedar timber complements both traditional interiors and contemporary spaces where an original antique piece can become a feature.
