Description: An attractive antique Australian cedar pedestal side table, featuring the rich, warm tones and beautiful natural grain for which Australian cedar furniture is so highly regarded.
The rectangular top has softly rounded edges, with a single full-width drawer beneath, fitted with two traditional turned timber knobs. The generous tabletop provides a practical surface for displaying a lamp, decorative objects or treasured pieces.
The table is supported by a central turned pedestal featuring a beautifully carved tulip-shaped detail, rising from a substantial four-way platform base with shaped feet. The combination of the elegant pedestal and distinctive base gives the table a lovely architectural presence.
A versatile piece of Australian antique furniture, equally suited as a side table, occasional table or feature piece in a hallway, sitting room or bedroom.
