The apron houses three drawers: the left drawer is a felt-lined cutlery drawer, the central drawer is a simple, full-cedar storage drawer, and the right drawer is another simple, full-cedar storage drawer. The left pedestal is a highlight in itself, containing an exceptional original cellarette drawer with lead lining, fitted with original lead dividers to securely hold decanters. This drawer, like the others, is constructed from solid cedar and features a brass handle.
The right pedestal, also made of full cedar, provides additional storage, featuring an open drawer and an adjustable shelf—ideal for serving ware or linens.
The backboard is a striking feature, showcasing flame mahogany with exceptional grain patterns and a carved crest to the top, adding elegance and presence to the piece.
