The table is supported on a central pedestal leading to a shaped quadruped base with scrolling feet and brass castors. The combination of the drop leaf top and finely balanced pedestal base gives the table an elegant profile while retaining practical proportions.
Originally designed as a sofa table, this versatile antique would also work beautifully as a hall, side or occasional table. The drop leaves make it particularly useful in limited space, while its classic English form gives it enough presence to stand alone as a decorative piece.
