Description: A beautiful antique English mahogany bookcase cabinet with lovely warm colour, elegant proportions and attractive carved detailing. The upper section retains its original glass, with two tall glazed doors framed by decorative carved motifs along the top and additional carved details at the outer corners.
Behind the glazed doors are three adjustable timber shelves, allowing the interior to be arranged to suit books, china, glassware or a collection. The original glass gives the cabinet wonderful character, while the glazed upper section keeps displayed pieces visible and protected.
The lower cabinet has two arched, panelled mahogany doors that open to a fixed internal shelf. The upper storage space measures approximately 33 cm high and the lower space approximately 28 cm high, providing useful enclosed storage beneath the display section.
Both sections feature brass escutcheons, complementing the rich mahogany and traditional English design. The combination of adjustable display shelving above and concealed storage below makes this a particularly practical antique cabinet for a living room, dining room, study or library.
