The table is supported by elegant tapered fluted legs that meet the apron with substantial square corner blocks, each decorated with recessed panels, highlighting the quality of its craftsmanship. The rich oak grain and solid construction create a table that is equally suited to traditional and contemporary interiors.
The table extends using a Joseph Fitter telescopic winding mechanism with the original winding handle. The smooth extending action allows the table to transform from a comfortable everyday dining table seating up to eight people into an impressive entertaining table accommodating up to fourteen.
With no extension leaves fitted, the table comfortably seats up to eight people. Adding the first leaf extends the table to seat up to ten, the second leaf increases the capacity to twelve, and with all three leaves installed, the table becomes a substantial entertaining table seating up to fourteen people.
