Description: A beautiful antique French chest of drawers in richly figured cherrywood, displaying the warm honey and reddish-brown tones characteristic of this desirable timber.
The chest features three generously proportioned drawers, each fitted with decorative brass ring handles and ornate brass escutcheons. The attractive grain and natural figuring of the cherrywood are particularly prominent across the drawer fronts, adding depth and character to the piece.
The rectangular top features gently rounded front corners and a moulded edge, while the chest is supported on a traditionally shaped plinth base. Its simple architectural lines and decorative brass fittings reflect the understated elegance of French provincial furniture.
Offering generous storage without compromising on appearance, this substantial chest would make a lovely addition to a bedroom, living room or entrance hall. Its warm timber tones complement both traditional French interiors and more contemporary settings.
