The fine silk construction allows for exceptional detail throughout the pattern, with densely worked floral decoration extending across the entire rug. Multiple decorative borders frame the central field, finished with fringed ends.
The original Hali label remains attached to the reverse and identifies the rug as Style: Silk Kashan, Colour: Red, Origin: Kashmir, Stock No. KS6460. The label also records the original retail price as $23,090.
