The curved armrests flow gracefully from the back before sweeping outward and terminating in finely carved scrolls, creating a comfortable handhold as well as an attractive decorative feature. The carved aprons and cabriole legs are embellished with acanthus leaf decoration, highlighted by traces of original gilt that enhance the refined character of the chairs.
The upholstery is presented in excellent condition in a soft duck egg blue fabric woven with a muted gold four-leaf clover-style pattern, complementing the carved timber frames beautifully.
